Sponsoring

Under the motto “Inspiring inspirers” (Begeisterer begeistern), the MIT Club of Germany e.V. created a unique conference under the name Schule MIT Wissenschaft (SMW), which focused on the needs of secondary-school teachers in STEM education. More than 100 teachers from all parts of Germany take part in the annual SMW conference, which each year takes place in a different federal state.

Because the MIT Club of Germany e.V. is a volunteer run non-profit organization, such an undertaking as Schule MIT Wissenschaft is not conceivable without “allies”. For those who make this conference possible, we offer our deepest thanks and appreciation. The video gives a sense of the atmosphere the conference creates, and some comments illustrate the significance it has for participants, speakers, partners, and sponsors.

Others can help the Club in developing Schule MIT Wissenschaft in two very important ways:

Partners are allies who help to promote SMW through long-term commitment and attendance at these national events, and especially in a decisive engagement with a host city. The partners help the Club to ensure the continuity of the program.

Sponsors promote a particular federal conference and are typically based in the state in which it takes place. A major part of the contribution of sponsors is to ensure that the conference can take place in their region.
